《高等代数》是数学与应用数学、信息与计算科学本科专业最重要的基础课程之一,是数学各专业报考研究生的必考课程之一，也是理论性、应用性很强的一门数学基础课。讲授本课程的目的主要在于使学生掌握高等代数的基础理论和论证方法, 获得较熟练的演算技能和初步应用的技巧, 提高分析问题、解决问题的能力,为进一步学习其它数学知识打下坚实的基础。
Advanced algebra is one of the most important basic courses of undergraduate majors of mathematics and applied mathematics, and information and computing science. It is also one of the compulsory courses for students to examine mathematics graduate, and is a theoretical and practical basic course of Mathematics. The purpose of this course is to enable students to master the basic theory and methods, to get practiced calculus skills and preliminary application techniques, to enhance students’ ability to analyze and solve problems, and to lay a solid foundation for further study of other mathematical knowledge.
The main task of this course is to enable students to master the theory of polynomial and algebraic theory of linear algebra (determinant, linear system of equations, matrix, quadratic form, matrix), and geometric theory of linear algebra (linear space, linear transformation, Euclidean space), through the main links of teaching (classroom teaching and discussion, exercise classes, homework, counseling, etc).
